The redfish is one of the most sought-after members of the drum family, due to its hard-fighting style and the excitement of shallow-water hookups.
The Speckled Trout is a true Louisiana staple, prized by anglers for its aggressive strikes and its reputation as one of the finest-tasting fish in the Gulf. These “yellow-mouths” provide fast-paced action across our coastal marshes and bays.
Known for their incredible camouflage and unique profile, the Southern Flounder offers a rewarding challenge for those looking to master the art of bottom-fishing. They are as fun to target as they are delicious to eat, making them a “grand slam” favorite.
A heavy-hitting relative of the redfish, the Black Drum is famous for its immense power and “drumming” sound. Whether you are targeting “puppy drum” for the table or battling a giant “bull,” these fish are known for their deep-pulling endurance.

CJ Rojas was a phenomenal guide! He is extremely professional, fun to fish with and very knowledgeable! We had some unfavorable conditions after a tropical storm muddied the water a few days before we went. But CJ did everything he could … More to put us on Reds and he got it done. That’s not to say it was easy because we definitely worked for the ones we caught. That’s why it’s called fishing and not catching. It was 3 of us and we finished day 1 with 9 and day 2 with 11 on the boat. You can tell CJ really loves what he does because it was eating him up trying to put us on that last fish to finish out our 2nd day but we sadly had to go in so we could make our drive home in time. I recommend CJ and his guys to anyone wanting to have a good time!
